Hi all,

I would like to have some clarifications reg Adobe interactive forms.

I) What and all do i need , to create an offline form?

1) ADS

2) Adobe Life cycle designer

3) Do i need to do anything abt SMTP and SAP Connect ?

4) can i send mail to any web server?

5) I can create offline forms without any webdynpros.. correct me if im wrong..

For Adobe IF, there isn´t a difference between an online or an offline form. The offline form just gets sent out via email. So, to answer your question:

1.+2. You do need the same tools to create an offline form as you would to create an online form.

3. You do have to configre in you SAP system the SMTP/POP3 settings to send/receive. The account, where the offline form will be sent to, needs to have a valid email adress. Anything more depends how you are using the form, for instance, inside a Guided Procedure.

4. Normally you send email to mail servers, not web servers. So, if you in fact did mean mail servers, of course, this is possible. You can send to any valid email adress. Because the form will be send using an email server from your company, there can be some restricitions. But you will have to talk to your IT department.

5. You can. An offline form is nothing more than just a Adobe PDF where you can fill out some fields.
