Shipment Costing

Hello Gurus,

I have never done shipment costing before.. sorry for my ignorance...

I have requirement where in we need to maintain the shipment cost information to provide it to the customer.

Transporter provides us with frieght bill for each shipment after the shipment is done. We pay as per the freight bill. The rate is per KM basis and rate differs based on the type and size of truck.

Is there a need to maintain shipment costing in this scenario???

The total costing goes to the project Over head costing....
