Frontend Printing through a Proxy

Former Member

I'm Connecting to an integrated ITS server through a proxy for security. Actually It's also going through a portal, but I don't think that's making any difference.

I'm using it to connect to a few transactions and it's working fine until I try to print. I have a frontend printer set up that works if I'm not going through the proxy, so I know that part is fine.

Here's the problem: When I connect via the proxy and try to print, The new browser window that pops up with the PDF file references the URL for the Application server. I need to change it somehow to point to the proxy server so it can be available outside my internal network. Then I'll have the proxy fetch it from the app. server.

Any Ideas?

Hi Christopher,

I never configured such scenario, so I don't know much about it. BSP (which is used for the print service in webgui) provides a mapping table for landscapes where revery proxies are used. OSS Note 750292 contains an attached MS word document which might be useful for you.

Best regards,
