No, don't think so, you can't even move a Software Component to another Product... you need to delete the entire Software Component then and recreate it in the other Product.
You can not rename a SC as such. However, you can create a new SC and in the devConfig, let it use the same workspace as your original SC. This should solve the purpose of renaming.
