Can I run xMII V12 on a UNIX server and UDS /UDC on a Windows server?

If we run xMII V12 and NetWeaver on a UNIX system, how do we use the UDS/UDC data sources? My understanding is that UDS framework and UDCs must be installed on Windows server(s). I believe that the UDC components can run on a different server than the UDS framework, but can the UDS framework be installed on a different server than xMII?

Yes, they can be on different computers. The UDS's (and the framework) do not require NetWeaver, and can run on a low-end Windows computer.
