SNC and BI Accelerator

Can anyone tell me if BI Accelerator platform supports SNC encryption (Secure Network Communications for encryption)? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Ron,

The BI Accelerator is based on NetWeaver platform, which supports SNC for server to server or for FrontEnd to server logon (e.g. from SAP GUI or SAP RFC interfaces).

According to [SAP Note 875400|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/875400] that component is deployed on the TREX and communicating with an NWAS ABAP via RFC. So, indeed, SNC is an option (at least from a technological perspective; the configuration UI might not provide that option; in that case I propose to submit a support request to SAP).
