Hi Job BBP_PCH_UPDATE_INDEX is automatically scheduled to run every second and it is not doing anything except fulling up the Job Logs.

We are not sure how this job was scheduled and what settings are used.

Hi,

GOTO SM37 and cancel this active job.Select the Job using SM37 transaction. In the Menu Choocse

Job ---> Cancel Active Job.

You can also see the job details in SM37.Just click on the entry in the list and then the button JOB DETAILS.There you can see who scheduled the job with what priority,time etc.

Hi,

This does not answer how this job has become scheduled. At one time it was running 3 times a second and we had over 700 000 job logs.

We can't find any docuemtation on this job. It was difficult to stop the job with Tx SM37 when it is running so frequently.

The job is scheduled automatically if you run the programme SMOF_DOWNLOAD -> e.g. replication of product categories from R/3.

For a few details have a look at not 1224922.
