Mass Change for Deactivation of Passwords

Former Member

Hello

I want to be able to deactivate passwords for large numbers of users, but not all users.

Whats the best way to do this?

For some reason, the login/password_change_for_SSO = 3 isn't doing it even though my users are getting SSO with logon tickets.

I was wondering if there was a one-time way to change this setting for most of my existing users.

Thank you in advance,

Eriks

I saw that post. It's helpful and tells me what I'm trying to do is possible.

I was hoping that there was a way to just mass deactivate passwords without programming. I should have put that in my original question.

Do you have any ideas why the automatic deactivation is not working?

For example: Are you sure the value is 3 on all servers?

If active, check your security audit log (SM20) for the logon type / reason of these users for any clues.

And, a shot in the dark: Do the users by any chance not have a user group to which they are assigned?

Julius
