Hi Team,
We have just upgraded to SRM version 5 and we have a link from the Portal to the SRM Server.
eg. http://hostname:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart/!
Seems as if all requests are only being sent to the 1st Server and the additional Apps server is idle.
I also checked the settings via (SICF-ITS - BBPSTART - Service Data - Load Balance )
and put the group that exists in the backend. ( eg. EBP_PROD.)
Question:
Do we have to install a WEB Dispatcher to handle the load balancing ?
I know this will definitely sort out our problem.
Any other clues.

Yes, SAP Web Dispatcher can be used for Load Balancing..
