How to Extend A Customer to different sales area?

Can you pelase tell me how to extend a customer to different sales area .

Do XD01 and enter the customer number and put the new sales area...

Hi Sundar

We can use the concept of Common distribution channel and common division to avoid creating or extending customer for all the sales areas

ex

you have 1 sales orgn , 4 distribution channel and 3 divisions

Sales Orgn 0001

DC 01,02,03,04

DV AA,BB,CC

You can configure the common division and distribution

DC 01 Common channel 01

DC 02 Common channel 01

DC 03 Common channel 01

DC 04 Common channel 01

and

DV AA Common division AA

DV BB Common division AA

DV CC Common division AA

Now if you create one customer for Sales Area 0001/01/AA

this will be valid for any sales area .

Since you want to estend only to new sales area, go to VD02 change customer screen and enter the new sales area. If however you want to create customers in one sales area and then extend to all other sales areas then in customising maintain common divisions and common distribution channels.
