Deployment to a Different Portal

How do I change the deployment of a VC model so it points to a different Portal PCD?

Hi,

Go to Tools->options->compiler tab.

there give your PCD Path in the field :portal deployment folder

It current points to pcd:portal_content/com.sap.gm.cnt/vcmodels.

This deploys to the Dev PCD I want to able to deploy to QA PCD.

However, I found the solution as to way the VC iViews were no displaying in the QA Portal.

When checking the individual iViews in the Visual Composer folder of PCD in the QA Portal for example iView - "ESS_Employment_Assignment_IT0001"

You will see that the System is pointing to ENFCLNT320

If I change this System setting to point to ENTCLNT100

Then look at the iView against the User, the data appears!

hi,

you need to either export your model from dev and then import it in qa and deploy there again from VC. alternatively, enable the "deploy with par" option in vc when deploying your models in dev system and create a transport pkg, include the folder from vc/models/<your model name> and transfer to qa system
