How do I integrate RWB/CCMS to Tivoli/HP Open View

Folks

Is there a way (other than writing custom Java code) to integrate current XI monitoring tools with Tivoli/HPOpenView..

I have looked @ options using SNMP from CCMS..But is there any other approach to integrate RWB with other monitoring apps..

Ur suggestions/thought welcome..

Hi, Sriram.

We are using IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Applications(SAP module).

By using this module, we're monitoring

1. XI CCMS alerts

2. ABAP Syslog

And using Tivoli's basic features, we also monitor xi.log(This is for errors in XI Java Adapters and we raise messages to Tivoli console when the word #Error# is matched in this log file)

Did you have to use any custom scripts for integrating CCMS alerts with Tivoli? Are you able to get meaningful information out of XI log for adapter errors..I kinda find it pretty basic..
