Message is not going to XI in SRM- MDM scenario

hello,

We are doing SRM_MDM scenario.

We have installed SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 Business Contents on XI.

But i couldn't see any Outbound Interface in these standard contents.

I want xsd for CatalogPublicationRequest_Out.............. where will i get that (transaction) ???

Also when i execute the Report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG in SRM, I could see my message( CatalogPublicationRequest_Out ) in SXMB_MONI of SRM.

But its not going to XI...............I can't see it in SXMB_MONI of XI.

That message in MONI of SRM have Sender but Receiver field is blank.

May be because of this is it not going to XI.

Please tell me the steps that i need to follow.

Help will be highly appreciated.............. its urgent

Hi Maheshwari,

For getting XSd file, Go to design part(Integration Builder)--> go to SAP SRM SERVER software component then check for software componenet version in your case it may be SAP SRM SERVER 5.5 or SAP SRM SERVER 6.0 then go to namespace http://sap.com/xi/EBP --> interface objects --> message interface --->CatalogPublicationRequest_Out ---> under this interface go to Message type Catalog transmission by double clicking. then under msg type it u will get the XSD structure in XSD tab.

Regarding msg not going to XI, u can check whether in Receiver determination u have configured CatalogPublicationRequest_Out as sender interface or CatalogPublicationRequest for srm system. if it is CatalogPublicationRequest then change into CatalogPublicationRequest_Out. Also check for Interface conditons in Interface determination

I don't have SAP SRM SERVER software component in IR.

Do i need it?

At least my message should come to XI........... may be with red flag.

If i have not done anything in ID, will it stop message coming in XI???

I don't think so.

Like for IDOC, even if we have not configured anything........ it will come to IE.

Hi Hi Maheshwari,

Sap has shipped the preconfigured proxies for the transaction.

ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG.

you can get the complete business Pack and related docs for SRM_MDM Catalog on the Service market place.

you need to Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository

For that Place PI content file (XI_7_0_SRM_MDM_CATALOG_1.0_00_00.tpz) in directory “/usr/SAP/xid/sys/global/xi/repository_server/import”. This Content file can be found in Business content Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository.

But first before importing above file.

You have to configure SLD Connections in which:

1.Defining Technical System for SRM Server, MDM and SAP PI.

2.Creating Business systems for SRM, PI and MDM

u also need to do Configuring Setup for ABAP Proxies:

1. use Transaction SM59 for creating RFC destination for HTTP( TYPE H) where u Specify Host Name of the PI server, Service Number and Path Prefix in Technical Settings tab.

2. u also need to configure SRM System as Local Integration Engine. For this enter transaction SXMB_ADM .

Definitely, for that u need basis guy who can configure SLD Connections

1.Defining Technical System for SRM Server, MDM and SAP PI.

2.Creating Business systems for SRM, PI and MDM

when you do this SRM SERVER software component in IR will visible.

Thanks for your help.

Now I could send data from transaction bbp_ccm_transfer successfully to XI......CatalogUpdateNotification_Out

But i m still facing the same problem for report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG ......CatalogPublicationRequest_Out

Message is in green state in SXMB_MONI of SRM.

Does this report need some extra configuration??

It seems to be scheduled for delivering your message,just wait for some time.

otherwise cancle your message and extract the supplier data again.

Also, In SRM System Go To Transaction RZ70

Message is in green state in SXMB_MONI of SRM.

That means msg is going throuhg SRM System sucessfully.

Check also for Conditions specified in the Interface Determination.

In XI, Go to Runtime WorkBench, uner message monitoring trace that is msg reaching Adapter engine and Integration engine or not, if it is coming u can check from here why it is not going further u can check for Error.

Now i could send data from both BBP_CCM_TRANSFER and ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG

But when i execute transaction SRMMDM_CTR_TRANSFER data is not going to SXMB_MONI of SRM.
