Dear All,
I've tried to do a client copy. Everything is working fine if I'm running using dialog process (start immediately).
However, when I selected the option to run the client copy as a background job, the job was automatically canceled.
In SCC3, the error code is as below:
The Log File Cannot be Read
Reasons for this may be:
-Was deleted by system administrator
-Directory cannot be accessed
Error Logs and details cannot be displayed
Really appreciate all your help
Regards,
John
Maybe you don't have authorization to run jobs (background).
I think you need also authorization to the "global" folder.

Hi John,
Check for the background work processe status.
Also check the free space for /usr/sap/<SID>/DEVBMGS/... and some times if you have lack of free space in this folders where it writes the log back ground job will not start.
Also check the permission of <sidadm> to the transport directory /usr/sap/trans.
Thanks and Regards,
-Bijesh.

Hi John,
Welcome to SDN,
This is most likely a permission problem...
Check that <sid>adm have aithorizations for the folder /usr/sap/trans and subfolders...
Regards
Juan
