Hi Guru,

There is Error (Create Issueing bank) getting me while creating the Letter of credit .Please suggest the appropriate solution.

Dear Pravin

After giving the Customer Code and Ship to Party, you have to define Opening bank details under "General data" tab. Probably, without giving the bank details here, you would have proceeded with subsequent screen and that is why you faced the error.

hi,

A letter of credit is a letter issued by a bank to obtain payment for goods. When a letter of credit is confirmed, the advising bank guarantees payment only if all stipulations in the letter of credit are conformed to exactly.

seems the bank is not setup properly. pl. check up with your FI guy.
