xMII 12.0 on WAS ABAP + Java - implications?

Hi Experts,

We have installed xMII 12.0 on WAS ABAP + Java. Are there any implications of such architecture as xMII is a native WAS Java product? One is that the UME lies in the ABAP stack and need to be transported across the ABAP landscape. Any other issues?

There is already one issue we are facing. We did a client copy from 001 to 700 client in the xMII 12.0 ABAP stack. Now the users created in 700 client are not being reflected in the Java UME. If we create users in 001 client, then those get reflected correctly. This is inspite of setting the ume.r3masterclient property to '700' in the UME propoerties in the SAP Java Visual Admin tool.

Please advise.

Thanks & Regards,

Shobhit

Do not use the visual admin to change the UME properties. This does not set the property globally. Refer to the user documentation:
