How come the packing boxid created by system is gray off and unchangable?

Hi,

When i attempted to pack each delivery item via VL02N, after keying packing materials for system to suggest a running number box id, i need to remove first few characters, add in a new box prefix (XXXX-) to pack the box. But the running number box id is gray off after system generated. Not able to amend the box-id. Is there any config related to this?

The type of Handling Unit is E(No. rang obj-HU_VEKP internal interval SSCC18 before.)

So whether your system generated boxid is also gray off?
