Chinese character unreadable code in Japanese OS system

Dear Experts,

Client OS is WinXP(Japanese). Download report list including Chinese

characters then open this file with notepad program or MS office of OS

(Japanese).

The all Chinese characters become unreadable code.

Could you help me?

(Basis620 ,SAPGUi 640 ,Patch level 29)

Hello Colin,

Kinldy check whether the correct Chinese locale is installed in your OS WinXP.This can be checked in your language options of your OS.Mostly if this is not installed then your Chinese characters will not be readable.

Thank you very much for your help.

I changed the some setting of office.

Now, if the list save as the local execl file, then open it, Chinese characters can be readable. But when call function 'XXL_FULL_API' output data to EXCEL, Chinese characters can not be readable.
