Hi experts,

I'm trying to migrate material master data from R/3 server ECC5 to R/3 server ECC6. I've configured the distribution model in transaction BD64. Then i go to Menu - Environment and "Generate Partner Profiles". I get a log for Partner Profiles that has no errors in it. Then I come back to bd64 and Edit - Model View - Distribute. I get a

pop -up and then finally i'm at the 'Log of Model View Distribution Screen, and i get an error

"Communication error occurred".

"error opening and RFC connection".

How am I to rectify this error.?

Answers will be appreciated.

Check the RFC users on both systems to see whether they are configured correctly (ie., host name, user, password etc)

Thanks for your quick reply Tamil. I have checked the RFC connection and it all looks fine. but i'm still arriving at the same error.
