New Project couldnu0092t be created! in NWDS

Hi experts...

I have trouble in creating the project in NetWeaver Developer Studio.

While i'm creating the project in NWDS SP9 ..I have selected project as J2EE ---> Web Module Project ... then I have gaven the project name ...dev.studio giving error message which is "New Project couldn't be created!".

Plesae tell me how to solve this problem!

Hi Thamer,

Do one thing. Close your NWDS. Then delete .metadata folder from your workspace directory. Then open NWDS once again.

Hi,

Check your permission on the folder, where you like to create your project, maybe its read only.

Some usefull hint: If you run into problems with eclipse or NWDS always have a look at eclipse's error log. You can find it under Window->Show View->Other...->PDE Runtime->Error Log. There you will see all errors forced by the eclipse runtime. The log messages are very needfull (most of the time).
