Confirmation in status "Awaiting approval"

Hello,

We are using SRM 5.0 (Support Package 11) with a SAP 4.6C backend system.

We are confirming in SRM a Purchase order and we activated workflow WS10400010 (without approval).

The status of the confirmation document in SRM 5.0 is nevertheless "Awaiting Approval".

In BBP_PD (BUS2203) we find the following status:

Estad.

Status Description Inactiv

HEADER I1015 Autorización en curso

HEADER I1021 Creado

HEADER I1038 Completos

HEADER I1044 Confirmado

And there is no WF workitem:

Work item WF:

No existe ning.work item WF

Transactions WE02 and WE09 dont show anything.

What could have happened in our case?

Hi guys,

Some additional information on the subject:

In trx SWUD (checking consistency of components) we found out that the status of Workflow WS10400010 is as follows:

Task: E. WS10400010 NoApprovCF Goods Receipt Workflow Without Appr

Message: E WD:401 Workflow definition '' not in version ''

Message: I WD:018 Container element LastWorkitem is for read purposes only

Message: I WD:019 Container element WFLCreatorType is not used

Trig.event: OK BUS2203 SAVED

We looked at note 981295 but this one os already implementes in our system support package Basis 0014!

Anyone had this error before and can help us?

Hi,

Please check the note 962488 "Workflow definition '&' not in version '&'".

1. Run the function module SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 and copy it.

2. Re-activate the WF definitions in the transaction SWDD

3. Check Consistency in the transaction SWUD

Also check the sub workflow.

Hi ,

I am facing the same on my end. I tried to manually set it to release, that would put confirmation to error in process state,

How did you resolve this issue? I am on SRM 5.0 SP 13.

Hi Aart,

In addition to what Masa has suggested, please look at the following points which may help in resolving the issue.

1. Check in Approval preview for the status of the work flow.

2.Check in SWE2 txn. (Event linkages) if any other workflow is activated for Confirmation BUS2203 object type

In case something else is also activated other than the desired work flow just uncheck the check box.

3. Please check the OSS note suggested by Masa and also check for some related OSS notes.

4. In case of urgency use SWO1 txn to manually approve the confirmation.

Mention the object type as BUS2203 and click on Test tab.Click on Instance tab and enter the GUID of confirmation.Under Methods click on execute icon for "Set Released".
