BW User IDs getting locked often

After SAP BI 7.0 upgrade we are having random cases of IDs getting locked often.

People face this problem when they are trying to use Web Reports etc

We have asked them to clear the cookies and temporary internet files. But that also does not help.

They get locked and need to reset their passwords very often.

Just wanted to know if anyone else was facing the same issue. How to go about resolving the same ?

Well, one very likely reason might be the fact that passwords are now case-sensitive.

See [SAP Note 1023437|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1023437] for background information and solutions (it might be required to update some RFC clients / middleware components; maybe also the frontend application (logon UI) needs to be updated).
