We've installed a NW2004s ABAP system (SPS14) and activated the VMC there. We also installed the SAP Application Platform add-on (SAP_AP, SP11). The IPC should run as an application in the VMC after that.
The problem is that although we have seen the IPC application running in the VMC, it stopped. No matter what we try now (restart, kernel patch), it won't return as an activated application. There are still entries under Installation and Components, but there seems to be no way to activate it again from there.
Any ideas on how to activate the IPC again?
