Creation of Variants

How to create variants in webDynpro , as we have selection-screen variants in R/3.

I do this so that i use std. function to store variants( i f i rember right i have to create one dummy abap report ).

Then i just read select-options from awd screen whn user push save variant button and store it via those std. functions. Quite easy.

Hi,

There is no such thing as variants in WDA, but you could possibly achieve partially similar functionality through some creative usage of customization/configuration of your application - assigning default values etc.

We have to manualy put button and code for that,, there is nothing like variants by default. since the dynpro is executing independent of r/3, as its running its output in ie, variant doesnt make any sense rt?
