I am not able to do MMBE...
Can i do PGI without stock postings...

Hi John,
For posting stock use MB1C movement type as 561
For checking stock use MMBE
In VL01N if the item is there in stock then the system will allow you to do PGI otherwise it will give you error "storage location stock deficit" PGI means post goods issue that means you are issuing the material to the customer.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.

Johny
MMBE is to check stock, you got that all messed up.
Try MB1c after that, however before MB1c vluation assignments should be done to plant

Dear John
If you want to post stock for a particular material, use MB1C (not MMBE) and movement type 561.
thanks

MMBE is only to check the Current Stock Position. Even if stock level is not checked & material is available Delivery & PGI is possible.
