Milestone Usage

Hi frnds,

I have a scenario , where the requirement , to send either a mail or information to few users at an interval of every 10 days ...calling for a meeting .

Can address this using a Milestone ??

Agree.

I wanted it thru P.S because for following reason

1) Because who ever uses that structure can avail that. If we can set such milestone in template , whoever copies that structure will have that feature available.

Otherwise ....it will be on the interest of user. If he sets his mail account than only such mails will flow. It will bcome person dependent.

A of now they r following the same.

I was looking...whether we can offer any better solution...either using Standard milestone functions and assigning a task of information or mail. ? and how to make it operate or trigger after every 2 months.?

I haven't tried or come across such scenario. And I don't think this comes as standard. But below mentioned SPRO node explains about (Customer-defined Tasks) workflow for Network Milestone. Try exploring it.
