Why freight cost estimation is called as simulation of shipping cost?

bcoz the transportation planner has the option of calculating the shipment costs while processing the shipments. In this way, he can view the shipment costs relevant for a shipment. The planner can change shipment data, such as the forwarding agent, shipping conditions, and mode of transport, and then calculate the costs on the basis of these combinations. The shipment costs comparison provides an important basis for decision-making in transportation planning and also helps to reduce the shipment costs

Hi Pramod,

The shipping cost means what is the cost involved (Transportation cost) to reach the goods to the place of the customer with deferent legs.

In the same way fright cost also will be calculated based on the cost is involved to transport the goods to the customer.

So freight cost estimation is called as simulation of shipping cost.
