without driver program can we create smartforms and why smartforms r client independent.justify.

Hi

Yes u can do it, but u can't print any document, u can only run it by SE37:

after activing the smartform the system generates a fm, u can test it by SE37.

Anyway you need to create a program to use it.

The smartform is a abap object (remember a fm is generate to run it) so it's client indipendent.

Yes, you can create a Smartform without a driver program, but you'll only be able to test it, not call it from the application.

As for the client independent thing, please search the forum, this question gets asked about twice a week and there's plenty of answers out there already.
