HI GURUS,

during installation solution manager ( windows 2003 standard edition) step 18 ( import ABAP) the error is :

importo monitor, R3load.exe SAPSDIC retru code:103.

Error DB connect rc= 256;

Error SQL= 1034;

Please help me.

when loading package SAPSDIC ( import monitor jobs - Import ABAP) SAPinst ( execute service) remainig in status running too much hour and the server is in the status freeze.

Hmm.. difficult to analyze based on just that much error info as its quite generic. You need to see which files are updated the latest in installation directory and check all of those for any descriptive error message.

Also, make sure you are not using jdk 1.4.2_10 as it is known to cause issues with installation.

1) copy all the Installation CD on a local drive

2) create new installation directory

3) start the installation from there as per installation guide

Additionally please also check to see if all the environment variables of the OS user have been set correctly.

Make sure the OSUser has adminstrator privileges.

you need to check sapinst.log, sapinst_dev.log for more error info.

Error in sapinst_dev.log is:

could not get thread token. Last error: 1008. I assume no thread token exits.

Please help me.

my problem consist in execute service and during step import abap running 1 job.

Execute service remaining in status wait.

No product error.

The server remaining in status freeze.

Requirements HW and SW are OK.

Please Help me

Hi maurizio,

This message is usually related to problems connecting to the DB..

Check that the DB is up and running, if oracle check that the listener is started.
