Hello Kamal,

the simplest way to make a MIC relevant to the entire client is by creating material specifications, in the contrary to inspection via inspection plan (which is only valid for 1 plant) material specifications are valid for the entire client.

I hope that this helps you.

MIC created can be used in other plant TL. In the task list when you enter MIC enter the Plant system will accept and will assume that plant enetered is MIC plant...there is no problem...it is std SAP procedure

We have created MIC in plant one and TL in 18 plants (different co code) and When Creating TL in 18 plants we refer MIC created in plan 1 and enter the plant 1 in MIC screen.

Rajesha is correct. PLEASE don't create MIC's in every plant. If you use batch management, (or if you MIGHT some day), you'll want to link your MIC's to general characteristics and this is a one-to-one relationship. You don't want the same test on your batch five times to allow for 5 MIC's that are all basically the same test.

Another option is to create a master data plant and create all MIC's in that plant to be used by everyone.

Another option is to create all your task lists in a central plant and assign all the material/plant combinations to it. This can be an issue if you use IDI or your doing a lot with workcenters in inspection plans.

Hi

Another method is specifying same plant where MIC is created for Inspection plans created in other plants.
