hi everyone,

Can anybody plz tell me in Material Master(MM01) how can i make certain fields as Mandatory ,hide,optional display.

for eg in my co. for some cases Old Material field is Mandatory and for some its not.

plz tell me how we can maintain these fields Mandatory ,hide,optional display thru SPRO.

i hve checked tcode OMS9 but i am confused bcoz here all fields are opt entry and not able to get the fields like div,old mat no,mat grp etc.

plz tell me if i want to make the changes of all the fields of Basic data screen .how can i do this.

In T.Code: OMS9, select the Material Type say FERT & further the control to make it mandatory / Hide / Optional can be based on Field Selection Group, which may contain a single field or multiple fields.

Hi,

You can do this here: SPRO>logistics general>material master> field selection>maintain field selections for data screens.

Here you can maintain the optional and required fields. there was some difference in this maintenance when compared to Customer master.

Discuss with MM consultant and do it.
