SLD screen not opening in Sol. Man Configuration

Hi all,

I have installed the Solution manager successfully, after that Configured SLD successfully.Then to configure Maintenance optimizer, in transaction: SPRO i had given all the details of the system, and also relating to SLD in it. All the Details are correct but after that When i try to open SLD thru' http://<host:port>/sld, i could not the following message is displayed.

"220 hostname SAP 7.00(52) ESTMP service ready 500 command unrecognized 500 command unrecognized 500 command unrecognized....."

Can you provide a solution for this?

Hi Arun,

to me it looks like you are connecting to the SMTP service rather than the HTTP service. Please verify the port you are using. Also use transaction RSPFPAR and have a look at these profile parameters:

icm/server_port_0: PROT=HTTP, PORT= ...

icm/server_port_1: PROT=HTTPS:, PORT=...

icm/server_port_2: PROT=SMTP, PORT=...

Use the port specified with icm/server_port_0. The ports must not be the same.
