Hi,

Business service:

To address the potential senders and receivers of messages

Business System:

Business systems are logical senders or receivers that exchange messages by using the Integration Server and that are entered in the System Landscape Directory.

The business systems in the System Landscape Directory relate to a system landscape. The business systems of business partners are therefore not entered in the System Landscape Directory. To be able to address such business partners logically, use communication components in the Integration Directory. A business system is a way of specifying a communication component in the Integration Directory more precisely (business system component).

Hi,

You can use Either Business Service or Business system for sending the messages from one Application to another application.

Diff bet Business System and Business service

When you know about the SLD details , then we will go for business system. If we know partially about the SLD means we will go for Business Service.

You can create the Business service in ID....

Select service without party and create the business service.

BUSINESS SERVICE:

1)When we are not sure about the system which are going to take participation in communication we create Business Servieces.

2).Business services are used to group interfaces.

BUSINESS SYSTEM: Used to address as a sender and receiver of the systems, imported from SLD

Hi,

Business System: Is the one which has technical information defined in SLD. It could be a WebAS Java/WEBAs Abap/Standalone Java/ Third party.

Business Service:Is the one where you dont have the exact information of the system. One good example is where you are trying send data from an HTML(HTTP sender) page to an SAP(RFC/IDoc Adapter) system.

Thanks,

Kiran

Hi Naresh,

thats the most common question everybdy ask.

you will find lots of thread in sdn.i request u please search ur queries in sdn first.. if u don't find any relevent ..then u should ask question...

serch in sdn with key word "business service and Business system"

still

Business System

Business systems are logical systems that function as senders or receivers within the SAP Exchange Infrastructure. You configure business systems in the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD). A business system is always associated with a technical system (here: SAP Web AS ABAP system).

Business Service

Using a business service, you can define the technical or business subunits of the companies involved and then assign them the relevant interfaces.

You usually use business services when configuring cross-company processes. In this case, you only make your interfaces known to the business partners involved and either do not make any details about your own system landscape available, or only specific details.

For example, you can define RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes (PIPs) as business services.

Business System

A business system is an actual application system in a system landscape. A business system (service) comprises information about the inbound and outbound interfaces and the software component versions of the business system.

You usually use business system services when configuring internal company processes.

Business Service

If you want to address an abstract business entity as the sender or receiver of messages, choose this service type.

Using a business service, you can define the technical or business subunits of the companies involved and then assign them the relevant interfaces.

You usually use business services when configuring cross-company processes. In this case, you only make your interfaces known to the business partners involved and either do not make any details about your own system landscape available, or only specific details.
