can any one explain the steps to transfer the data from r/3 to apo dp using CIF'S

In DP, we just use CIF for SCM master data (Product, Location) while the master data needed for DP (CVCs) is generated from sales information coming through BW cubes.

You donot need to CIF anything for planning in DP but in case you want to send it to R/3 or SNP, they need master data reference to linkup your transaction data that you want to transfer. Then you need to CIF your data.

What kind of data are you looking to transfer from R/3 to APO-DP?

Normally DP data like Sales History is routed to APO from R/3 through BW and not via CIF.
