Block sales orders which will generate a loss on the order

Is there a way to automatically block a sales ordered which the costs will be greater than the revenue?

I would appreciate any advice available.

HI chet,

I dont think this is standarad Sales order cycle.

You most probably will have to use the user exit coding to do this.

Even if you use user-exits, it will be pretty hard to get actual costs and prices and do the profit analysis and then do the blocking.

I think it would be quite complicated to put this requirement in SAP.
