Set the GUIType

HI, There.

We've got a problem when starting a ESS transaction in the portal. (ITS 6.20) When we start the transaction it doesn't take us directly into the Transaction it brings up the "start SAP easy access" screen. However when we run this transaction throught the Support console in the portal we choose webgui for HTML and it still gives us the same result but when selecting webgui for Windows it start fine without that first screen.

Is there a way to set the guitype in the portal or in ITS?

Regards

Richard

Hi,

What is the procedure when upgrading from ITS 6.10 to ITS 6.20.

All these transactions seemed to work with the right guitype.

Since we upgraded we are having this problem. We actualy did a clean install of ITS 6.20. Now The question is. Should publishing of some kind take place form R/3? Or how does the HTML renders from within the ITS?

Thansk

Hello Jeremy,

the long and short of it is:

this happens when SSO(2) is used; a correction is planned for patch 20; as a workaround, add

~popupsduringlogon 0

to your global.srvc file.

Hello P079223,

~webgui is an SAP internal parameter - it must not be used in customer developed services or added to existing SAP services by customer.
