Problem with XI objects transport - Unable to set import lock for SWC

Hi guys!

I try to import objects from dev to qa but I'm getting following error:

Unable to set import lock for software component version SWC_xxxx , 1.0 of company.com because user OSALUDEW is currently importing data to this component Try again once user OSALUDEW has finished importing data

The problem is, I'm not importing anything.. Well, I try to import, but something is hanging there from previous time.

How to solve this issue?

Olian,

Go to Changelist and scroll down, u can see u r transport over ther. Right clikc on that and say manually close the transport. See if it helps you!

This is the problem - there are no items in my change list.

Did u checked the Open, Transportable check box in Changelist.

Raj, yes I did. SInce I'm on PI, there is no more Transportable check box. But yes, I have checked the Open.

There are no objects there. Any other idea?

Which transport r u doing? File or CMS?

Raj, I'm using file system transports.

Well,

I closed all the applications - repositories (dev, qa), directories (dev, qa), then started qa repository again and imported the objects successfully

....hmmm....

Try to Unlock the user OSALUDEW in SU01 Transaction And do Re-import it

Hi N V,

this is not the solution.. Not my user is locked. There is a problem with import lock.
