Can anyone please tell me that when a server is being made to point from one instance to another then what are the changes needed to done like jco changes,some changes in visual admin etc??

hi!

I think you are migrating your system to another server and you are using J2EE. that's correct?

When you are using JAVA instances you should do it using system copy procedure. For instance in a LINUX or UNIX you might be tempted to copy the filesystem structure but if you change the server hostname then you have to much work to do.
