Hello all!
Is it possible to handle two different versions of one software component on one production server ?
Within the JDI it is possible - but is it also possible to deploy these two different versions onto one production system ?
Tanks in advance
Frank
Hi Frank.
I don't think you are able to have two versions of a SC in the same production environment.
1. Even though the SCs have different versions, they are have the same name/structure and therefore which ever SC version is deployed last is the 'active' version.
2. In JDI you are not able to have two versions of the same SC in the one track. I.e. two SC versions equals two tracks.
Hope this clarifies matters for you.
Best regards,
Jacob
