how to restric 30 rows on each page of ALV Report .

From ALV Report how can i print 30 rows on each page and display footer on each page showing page number and some other information.

Hi,

In the first Statement .. i mean REPORT statement..

you have to mention the space for the Footer.

REPORT ZRAMESH LINE COUNT 40(5).

if you dont mention the line count you will not get the end of page.

you can you 5 lines for the footer and 5 lines for the top of page event.

And to print some data use the events available with the ALV DISPLAY function module !!

If you r going to use the GRID Display .. then you cannot see the output in no of pages.. it will display as if there are no pages..

But when you take a print you will get the actual layout with pages !!

You can see only in LIST DISPLAY..

I already use the LINE COUNT 40(5) in my report.

But when I click on print preview of ALV grid then no page footer is display. also when I take print there is no page footer. Also number of lines are not restric to 40 when I am taking print from ALV grid.
