Hi Team,

I manage a BW system and we have loads from R/3 scheduled using PROCESS CHAIN.

I am suppose to Set up two daily batch jobs and time is below, however, we want to exclude the weekends during the month, and include weekends during month-end. Month-end for last month is defined as Work Day 2 to 7 of next month.

1. GMT: 01:00:00 (SG 9AM)

2. GMT: 09:00:00 (SJ 9AM)

Any suggestions please.

Hi Priyanka,

You can schedule this in sm36 define the job as periodic job and then select the appropriate period when the jobshould be running. The tcode sm37 is only for monitoring,if you want to schedule the job do it using sm36.

Reward points if helpfull.

Hi Priyanka,

I would second Juan's suggestion for a custom factory calender.

Create two factory calenders using transaction SCAL and then in SM36 while defining the jobs giving the repsective factory calenders in restriction part.

Hi Priyanka,

This is a bit tricky basically you can setup part of the job as periodical and part the other part manually or also i think you can create a custom factory calendar to adjust the days that you want the job to run.
