what is control M in PI and how to use it for monitoring in PI

Control M is a control module of SAP. It is not part of XI. But u may use it in PI to trigger a call . e.g. trigger an abap proxy call by scheduling an event.

Can you provide some document on the procedure of implementing it.
"Control M" is monitoring tool for SAP provided by BMC software.
