SRM-MDM Integration

Hi All,

We are trying SRM-MDM integration.

For transfering the contracts and purchasing inforecords, we are using R/3 system ECC5.

We used MDMGX for transfering the reference data and it is working fine.

But how can we transfer the main data ? Is there is any specific transaction for this in ECC5.

Hi Nikhil,

As per the SRM-MDM Integration, for Reference data (lookup table data), you can use the transaction as "MDMGX" .remember one thing this is the transaction is also totally customizable,you can transfer the data whatever you want.

And for the Main table data,there is another standard transaction in ECC as "MDM_CLNT_EXTR", you can use this for replicating the main table data from ECC to MDM System.

For the use of this transaction, you can use the SAP Note No-836985,844558.

or you can refer the SAP Teched PDF file name as "MDM250" and its related exercise.

Hi Saurabh,

If there is any SRM specific transaction in ECC5, other than MDM_CLNT_EXTR?

In ECC 6, there is one Transaction MECCM – Transfer Contract / Info Record Data to SRM MDM Catalog.

So I want to know whether there is any specific transaction like this on ECC5

Hi Nikhil,

I dont think so, is there any standard transaction avialable for SRM in ECC.

there are 2 standard transaction name as

BBP_CCM_TRANSFER---for replicating the product data from SRM to MDM System.

SRMMDM_CTR_TRANSFER---for replicating the Contract data from SRM to MDM System

one standard report name as "ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG" for replicating the supplier data from SRM to MDM

But these are the transaction related to the SRM-MDM Catalog scenario and for using the same you have to configure the XI scenario also and hole scenario as well....

Again these transaction are for SRM system.

I want contract details from R/3 system for integration. So I want to know specific transaction in ECC5, like MECCM in ECC6.
