Hi

I want to give 2 different validity period for condition type K007 in VK11. One is from 12.02.2008 to 31.12.9999 for 10% another from 17.02.2008 to 25.02.2008 for 15%, after the second validity period system should go back to the first one.

When i try to maintain in VK 11 for two validity period for K007 system is taking the future dated one always.

How do I configure two validity period for same condition type.

Best Regards

Swami

Hi

Please try to create using the create with reference method of creating the condition record. You can use mass maintenance of conditions to try to accomodate this. However, I am not sure if it would allow the overlap of date intervals, as specified by you.

Hope this helps.

hi,

i dont see anything wrong in what you have done and the system should pick the overlapping condition record ie the second one you mentioned with 15 % disc. And automatically it will pick the previous one since its valid.

Please if there is abap code against picking the K007 condition. Please get back incase you still dont get it. what you have done is correct and very much SAP standard's way of hanling overlapping condition records.

Try out in the following way and let me know whether its working or not

Enter three records with the following validity periods and values

10%

17.02.2008 to 25.02.2008 -

25.02.2008 to 31.12.9999 -

10%
