Procurement of external staff

Hi All,

I am in SRM 5.0. I am trying the external staff procurement. I am using it for local product category

I have created a shopping cart using the link request.

The shopping cart is available in the sourcing cockpit inspite of the setting (sourcing never carried out)

But the check box is greyed out , so i cannot add it to sourcing.

But as far as i know the request should automatically create a bid invitation.

What are the configuration steps?

Can any one explain.

If i see the shopping cart in BBP_PD i see that the cart item line has item category as HIER. does any one know what this is. And which is the setting which populates it.

I can also see the indicator F which signifies group together items for sourcing.

Where is the logic for these populations?

Hi,

Please check the below mention settings:

SPRO->Supplier Relationship Management->SRM Server->Sourcing->Define Sourcing for Product Categories

Here for the product catergory used for the external staff procurement (i suppose it is local) the option

"Sourcing Never Carried Out"should be selected and also your source system as your EBP client if the product category is local.

Always the request will be treated as a hierarchicalshooping cart
