Hi All,
I need your help urgently. Currently I'm facing a problem with break lines between texts for example below. In print preview it shows correctly but in printout it shows a blank space between the texts and it only underlined the text.
ABC Company Ltd
____ ________ __
I want it to be in one straight line as below
ABC Company Ltd

I'm using HELVE as a font type. In this forum there is some suggestion to use underscore or &uline&.
Could you pls suggest the best way to overcome this problem.
Thank You
Adis
I had the same problem in SE63. I needed underline in the translated text.
The real issue is with the windows printer driver.
When I print the same document on the local printer, which is a network printer in my Windows, I get gaps.
When I print to the same network printer from SAP, there are no gaps.

Very late reply I know. But I faced the same situation and was lucky to find an SAP Note that handles it.
The SAP Note is 1149136 and it says that a User key in Windows Registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPlpd\SAPLPD) has to have a value of '1' set to the parameter 'print_spaces'. Doing so will cause spaces to appear as an underline.
Yes it's crude, but it's the only note I've found that addresses the issue. Hope this helps you out.

Hi Krushna,
Thanks for your reply but this problem is related to the PO MEDRUCK using Sapscript form, SO10 for the terms and conditions description and se72-style as it does not involve smartform at all. Could you pls advice me on this further.
Thanks

Hi
First create a PARAGRAPH FORMAT and select the under line button ( so10 for creating that)
Then use that paragraph format to the standard text.
In the smartform
GOto the text which uses the standard text
Goto "General attributes --->paragraph format -
> put that paragraph format inthe standard text
Reward if useful.
(I have done that it will definitely work)
Thanks
Krushna
