No SAP node in Server Explorer in VS2003

Hi,

I've installed the SAP .net Connector 2.0. Unfortunately when I open the Server Explorer I do not have a node called "SAP" to create my connection with the SAP System. Does I have to configure this somewhere or is something missing?

Thanks Normen

Hi Normen,

Try following:

1. Open Visual Studio 2003.

2. Navigate to Server Explorer toolbar.

3. Click the "Refresh" icon in the Server Explorer toolbar.

Sometimes it helps to solve the problem.

Regards,

Rima.

Hi Rima,

reload doesn't change anything. Do I have do define available servers somewhere?

Hi Norman,

Sounds strange. In most of the cases it should work.

Anyway, try uninstalling and re-installing SAP .NET Connector on the system.

Ensure VS is closed and do reboot the system after un/installation. Just to be on safer side.

Start the Visual Studio ->View ->Server Explorer and hit the 'refresh' icon couple of times.

Regards.
