Double line and Singleline entry

Hi! Can anyone explain what is meant by doubleline entry and single line entry. What is the use of it and how I can see them?

Hi Sreesa,

I am not sure wether the same meaning would apply to your project. My suggestion would be to ask the person who used these terms.

In My project a double line entry is used in sales order and refers to a BOM material entry. i.e. you put in a BOM material and then the packaging material gets added automaitically. Its like exploding the BOM.

Double line entry allowed you to have more fields on screen at once by having two physical lines per item.

But I haven't seen them in a while, most of the VA* transactions use those things that aren't quite ALVs. What version are you on?
