XI within ECC

Hello all,

The client is upgrading from 4.6 to ECC 6.0 and installed a new XI system within the ECC system on the same server. Please give me some information on what RFC destinations are required and anything related to my case.

By the way, I am going to use JDBC adapter to connect the legacy system to ECC through XI. (replacing the ABAP interfaces between the old 4.6 and legacy system)

Many thanks in advance.

Ramesh.

Hi,

U need to follow the below steps:

1) Creating RFC Destinations in the ABAP and Java Environments

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/a0/40084136b5f423e10000000a155106/frameset.htm

3) maintain the RFC destination which points to R3 system for IDOC.

refer the below configuration for IDOC:

for proxy u need to do the configuration as well.

Hi,

You just have to create the RFC Destinations those included in the part of Installation.

Nothing more that these RFC's

the Rfc's those to be set in the installation are

LCRSAPRFC

SAPSLDAPI
