RWB is a tool which is part of sxmb_ifr interface.

When you will open Transaction sxmb_ifr, a webbrowser window will display four components of XI:

1. IR

2. ID

3. SLD

4.RWB

so sxmb_ifr is a medium to access these components.

again RWB is a monitoring tool for objects you will create in ID, and IR as well as to test scenarios using test messages.

Hi,

MOnitoring is done in two ways one is from RWB message monitoring and other is throguh SXMB_MONI transaction not through SXMB_IFR.

SXMB_IFR is an integration builder which has 4 components

1) RWB

2) Integration repository

3) integration directory

4) SLD.

Difference between RWB and SXMB_MONI monitoring is

SXMB_MONI is used to monotor the Integration engine monitoring. To monitor on ABAP Stack

RWB monitoring is used to monitor the Processing on All the Adapter those are running on JAVA Satck

Refer the below thread for more details:

Messae monitoring through RWB:

You use message monitoring in the following cases:

● To track the status of messages

● To find errors that have occurred and establish what caused them

Message monitoring enables you to use the following functions:

● Display and manage messages

● Display the message overview

● Search for messages using the index

● Filter displayed messages by particular criteria

● Configure the message display

● Edit messages

Monitoring enables a system administrator to monitor the system. He or she can:

● Monitor the processing of messages and message packages

● Check message throughput

● Execute error and status tracking.

sxmb_ifr opens a webbrowser which displays four components of XI:

1. IR

3. SLD

4.RWB

RWB stands for runtime workbench in XI.

It is a central monitoring tool of XI.In RWB you can perform various monitoring tasks like,

Component monitoring, messg. monitoring, End-end monitoring, performance monitoring and even the alert configuration / alert inbox are defined in the RWB.
